Dr. Chad Boger is a graduate of Carlton College 1997 and went on to dental school at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Chad provides the wide variety of general dentistry procedures at Boger Dental where he joined his father in practice right after graduation in 2002. Dr. Chad continued his training through several post-graduate courses in general and cosmetic/reconstructive dentistry. He was one of the youngest doctors nationwide to complete the post-graduate continuum on cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco in 2003. Dr. Chad then began an intensive and demanding curriculum at LVI, the Las Vegas Institute, to understand and help treat and prevent TMJ pain/dysfunction and headaches with computer aided jaw-tracking and the concepts of neuromuscular dentistry. Most recently, Chad has completed the orthodontics program at LVI, which focuses on aiding the development of the face, teeth and airway toward ideal form and function. The traditional orthodontic knowledge has enhanced his abilities to appropriately suggest when to use Invisalign, clear retainer braces, and has become a premiere provider through education and successful completion of cases. His education and experience treating a wide variety of functional and cosmetic challenges puts him in a position to be able to help a patient understand the possibilities and limitations of different treatments to meet their specific needs and wants.
Dr. Boger helps in a campaign to deliver dental services to special-needs families, and he provides dental care for adults with disabilities through DDS, Donated Dental Services. He has participated in Missions of Mercy which provides dental care to out-state under served populations. Annually the entire Boger Dental team and its patients raise money through the smiles for life campaign, smilesforlife.org, and donates money and time locally to the Ronald McDonald care mobile, and to the Smile Network.
Dr. Boger was born and raised in Minnesota and graduated from Hopkins High school before graduate and post graduate studies. He and his wife Shayla have two young children, Eleanor and Ansel, that keep them busy and happy. In addition to spending time with his family and friends he enjoys watching and playing sports, particularly basketball and golf. Following in his grandfather and great uncles footsteps Dr. Boger joined the Golden Valley chapter of Rotary International where he has been actively involved in the club and in the community. He is a board member and the director of international service/ student youth exchange and has served as the president. Email: [email protected]
