We hear time and time again how much our patients enjoy working with our staff here at Boger Dental. To showcase how great our team is, we want to share our employees’ stories who have a real passion for what they do.
We recently sat down with one of our dental hygienists, Micah Hallock, to learn a little more about her and her role at Boger Dental.

What is your role at Boger Dental? Registered Dental Hygienist
How long have you worked at Boger Dental? About 6 months
What’s playing in your car right now? Either War of the Roses or country music
What inspired you to work in the dental industry? When I was younger, I had to have almost all of my baby teeth extracted. Even with this experience, I still loved going to the dentist, probably for the prizes at the end of the appointment. I did not see a dentist throughout my teenage years and when I went back right before college started, I still realized how much I loved the dentist and my passion for dentistry grew from there.
What can we find you doing on the weekends/favorite hobbies? I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I love having people over to grill, and I choose to be outside with most of my free time all year long. I love playing with my puppy, fishing, and skiing/snowboarding.
What is your favorite part about working at Boger Dental? I love how everyone cares so much about each other and the patients. It is fun to share the same passion with everyone. It makes going to work fun and enjoyable.
What can we find you eating for lunch today? Probably pizza and desserts.
Where is your favorite vacation spot? California – There is so much to do and see each day.
What book are you currently reading/TV show you’re currently watching? The Office – on repeat.
What’s the most interesting or unique job you’ve had prior to working at Boger Dental? I worked at a coffee shop and I really enjoyed that job, waking up early and seeing the regulars come in each day. I opened and closed the small shop starting at age 14.
